My name is Margaret Maher-Williams. I play golf, rather poorly but love it nevertheless. Two weeks ago on the 31st. of August, I had lunch with a good friend of mine and told him that my handicap was the highest it had ever been. I was ready to quit playing! He told me he may have the answer (HA HA) and gave me a sleeve of Volvik Crystal Balls. To be polite I took them and thanked him profusely.

The first day of play with "the ball" I birdied the first hole on our course, a 221 yard par four. O.K., not a really momentous event in golf but we do play a Donald Ross course that hasn't been changed in over 95 years if that tells you anything. Each day of play I noticed that I was hitting the ball a little longer and quite honestly enjoying my play a little bit more each day.

Today was a beautiful summer to fall day, perfect golf conditions, warm but not hot. Gentle breeze with gorgeous blue skies. What more could any weekend golfer ask for? Not too mention that our course is in pristine condition. We were a happy foursome. I played up and down golf, a par here a bogey there. We made our way to the # 7 tee. My golf buddy Karen and I watched our husband's hit mediocre shots onto a par 3. I got up to the tee, aligned my shot, set my stance, gave myself my mantra and hit away. What a shot! Felt great. Next thing I knew we were all doing the happy dance. I had my first Hole-in-One!!!!!!!! This is a 145 yard par three all carry that has been my nemesis all season long. What a thrill. I attribute it to your wonderful golf ball. Thank you!!!
